Tag End  The part of a (fishing) line in which the knot is tied. (4)

Terylene Trade name of material made from a polyester resin (1)

Thimble A grooved piece of metal or plastic, circular or pear shaped, round which an eye may be spliced. (2)

Thread . Yarn. Small Stuff may be described by specifying the number of threads (or yarns) it is made from.(2)

Toggle A wooden pin, with an eye splice round a groove in the middle, to fit into an eye in a second rope to hold them together. Toggle and eye may be on the same rope to make a type of lanyard. (2)

Trambling The act of partly or wholly untying one knot and retying it with a modification to create another knot. (7)

Trice To haul up or pull taut. (6)

Truss To bind, to lash up. (3)

Tuck  To pass a strand between other strands when Splicing. (8)

Turks Head  A purely decorative piece of ropework. It is probably the best know of all fancy knots. (10)

Turn  A loop round an object. (2)

Twine Stout string, usually waxed or tarred, made of two or more twisted Strands. (8)
