Coach Whipping. The over/under/over pattern of knotting used for covering cylindrical objects. May be executed with strips of cloth, canvas, tape, leather thong or cord. (4)
Coax a strand. To tighten a knot gradually by taking a little slack at a time and working each strand in turn until all is snug. (3)
